Wait and Plan

While I wait for my TOEFL book to come, I am doing following:
1. Connect with the fellow bloggers.
2. Short list the probable B schools that I would be applying in the early round.
3. Have a list of criteria to short list the schools.( Later Blogs..)
4. Prepare my own ranking.
5. Create a short resume and forward to the MBA consultants to get their opinions on what school should I apply. I think its a good idea to get a opinion.

I have realized few things:
1. Let me write this blog for myself.
2. Why??.. It helps to know after few years what I was thinking at this time..

I have already placed an order for a TOEFL book from Amazon.
Estimated shipping date is 8th July..
I hope it comes on time.

And I really hope i kick start the preparation...

First Thing First

I have to do things with regards to this blog..

2. Connect with the fellow bloggers who are on the same journey of finding that perfect MBA college.

Fall and Spring

I just got the below clarified...

Fall SEMESTER will be from mid-August (in some states early September) to the Christmas Holidays.

Spring SEMESTER will be from the first of January through the end of May or early July.

Step One - Answer the following questions

Answer the following Questions??
1. Why MBA?? -- Most important.. And better be true to yourself.
2. Post MBA What?? -- What you want to do after you get your MBA?? Get the list of the companies you would be interested in?? Learn about the fields that you would be interested in ??
3. Short term and long term goal??

As I was going through the essays of serval MBA schools, I found that the nearly all essay revolves around the above questions..

Lets do some soul searching and have some clarity??

Search Begins

Its again that time of the year..
Last year I decided not to apply to B schools..
Recession was a big reason not to apply..
I was not sure the amount of time and money I have to invest and the return I would get.
So.. Its a new year...
Lots of unanswered questions..

Let the search begin...
